#India needs INNOVATION TO INVENT A NEW WHEEL-1

#DEVELOPMENT needs #INNOVATION using #SCIENCE, #TECHNOLOGY, #ENGINEERING leading to SOCIOECONOMIC UPLIFT

This is First in a Series to PLAN INDIA’S DEVELOPMENT. We look at negatives, to assess NEEDS

#RESOURCES:

1. Annual rainfall of 3.78 Tr Cu.M– 7,000 L per day for each of 1,370 Mn Indians. But, 68% of India are proclaimed “drought prone” in a water-surplus nation

2. 160 Mn Ha arable lands; only 55% irrigated; balance in drought regions

3. 500 Mn “Cattle equivalent”; their annual wastes @ 1.35 billion T are convertible into 75,000 MW– now wasted

4. Out of 650 Mn working class, age 18-60 only 150 Mn have sustainable jobs

5. Seacoast of 7,500 KM, with 50 Tr Cu.M seawater; about 1% utilized

6. Each yr 1.5 Mn Engineering graduates come out; but hardly 20% get appropriate jobs

All available RENEWABLE RESOURCES, estimated @ $70 Tr

POTENTIAL

@ $40,500 (Rs.3 Mn) value creation per working class, total would be $26.3 Tr; current GDP @ $2.35 Tr is less than 1/10th of POTENTIAL

DYNAMIC #ENTREPRENEURS must LEAD– utilizing Resources and Potential
